  Was with the family in Oskaloosa for a swim meet and couldn't decide what we wanted to eat.  I choose this place hoping for a good variety of things to eat so everyone could be happy.  I definitely wasn't wrong.  I have included pictures of their menu and the huge selection they have.  We were all able to easily find something to eat that we enjoyed.  They even have daily specials of which weren't even on the main menu including Prime Rib.    Service was excellent and our food was on our table in a short time.  The pricing is also excellent especially for all of the food you get.

  Salad kinda wilted...
  Beef tips and noodles based on tomato sauce..
  Not my favorite way...
  Good service.. May be an off day?

  Love the hamburger steak with onions.
  Good pie selection too!

  The food was good but the place needs cleaning done. Doors have tons of dirty hand prints. The glass case where the register sets was absolute filthy. It's never good to walk in a place to eat that's dirty. I am surprised state inspector allows it. Well this lady will complain.  Dirt means bacteria and bacteria is harmful for everyone.  So clean up your place its nasty
  I wont be back it makes my skin crawl yuck .

  The staff is very friendly. They know how to cook an overeasy egg, and many places don't. Usually, thats all I ask from my breakfast diner.
  
  However ...
  There's a flat-screen television in the dining room. Fox News blared propaganda from the most hateful regime in my lifetime all the way thru our meal.
  
  Hearing that they can watch Fox and Friends while they eat  may bring throngs of trump voters to this restaurant. But it will keep me from coming back. I hope the restaurant owners can hear that progressives eat too and change the channel to something less offensive to so many Americans.

  My buddy and I were heading towards What Cheer, IA for an antique show. I'm 45 years old and love hole in the wall restaurants, or something authentic. I thought this place resembled what typical hole in the wall restaurants look like however the food I had: Biscuits and Gravy + hashbrowns ... was memorable, but in a bad way. The gravy on the biscuits was burnt. Biscuits seemed great but smothered in a burnt nightmare. I ate as much as I could because we were in a hurry to get to What Cheer and didn't have the time to wait for a second round of "burnt."
  
  The waitress seemed really authentic and nice.
  
  Restaurant was clean and even had a picture of Mother Theresa. You earned major points in some weird way for having this picture in a frame near your cash register. I found it odd but loved it the same.
  
  I'd probably give this place a second chance but would never recommend the Biscuits and Gravy, despite being told they were "legendary."
